Dear Trena;

On Sunday I attended the Chair Dancing for Everyday Women workshop that is offered at your studio. I wanted to share with you how much fun the workout was, and just how amazing I felt, during and after the class. As you know I have been a dialysis patient for the past 2 ½ years, I also received an emergency colostomy a few months back. Going for dialysis 5 days a week and having a colostomy as a young married woman/ mother has been one of the hardest issues I have had to deal with to date. I've had a lot of struggles with feeling positive about my body image since. I cried for the first 3 weeks when I first received the colostomy and still find myself shedding a tear or two. I have been counting down the days till it will be reversed and removed. Fitness was a huge passion of mine and due to many medical situations I have not been able to work out since. During the class we learned a sexy dance that was so much fun and really worked my lower and upper body. The moves were easy to learn and the instructor was so confident and incredible. I found myself lost in the moves and motions of the class that I actually didn't think about my central line in my chest or the colostomy on my stomach. I left the class feeling sexy, beautiful and confident – like a woman. I felt so good that I wanted to write to you and thank you for offering such an amazing class. Most people don't know I have a colostomy. I wanted to share with you and your readers how having a colostomy has impacted my life, so you could all understand just how amazing the class was for me, to want to share a part of my personal story with all of you.

Thank you so much again.
